East Africa offers a wide range of exciting activities to the traveller who wants to have some adventure and get off the beaten track and out of the safari vehicle. Expeditions are centred around core activities so, at the same time as enjoying your special interest you are surrounded by wilderness, fascinating culture and game viewing opportunities.

An Expedition is tailored for a small group and is led and hosted by a professional guide who provides personal attention and expertise whilst ensuring your comfort and safety. Your trip may take you to Kilimanjaro - the roof of Africa, give you an intimate insight into the lives of great primates or allow you to ride free on horse back over open savannah plains.

Accommodation styles will be varied and may be dictated by your chosen activity, including simple camping, a mobile tented camp that follows you and properties from our Classic Collection .

Expeditions last between 4 and 10 days and your trip can be extended to include a more traditional game viewing safari or some time relaxing at a coastal destination such as Mombasa, Lamu or Zanzibar.
