East Africa Safari Ventures are proud to partner with Kenya Wildlife Trust (KWT), founded in 2007, with a focus on protecting Kenya’s big cats and other predators through a network of high-impact conservation initiatives. KWT is a trustworthy pair of hands when it comes to conservation, focusing on putting the right boots on the ground, rather than into big offices.
If your safari includes a visit to the Maasai Mara, you will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes of KWT’s Mara Predator Conservation Programme which focuses on protecting the region’s most iconic predators, including lion, cheetah and wild dog.
In addition Kenya Wildlife Trust also work with conservation groups across the country, providing scholarships to the next generation of conservation leaders. With KWT you can be assured that every partner they work with is connected to and engaged with the local community, helping to ensure people living close to wildlife truly benefit from it.
