With access to more remote locations in a mobile camp or the exclusivity of the Ol Derekesi Conservancy in the Maasai Mara, safari guests young and old can take part in many other exciting activities.
Depending on your location, you may traverse dramatic landscapes on day and night game drives, personalise your relationship to your surroundings on a guided bush walk or range over remote locations via a helicopter or scenic plane flight before touching down to explore. Develop a deeper understanding of indigenous tribes and their cultures; join a herdsman and learn the ancient art of tracking wildlife, test your skills by shooting a bow and arrow or throwing a spear or visit an authentic village or a local school. For the more adventurous, some lesser-known areas have streams and crystal-clear pools where you can go paddling, swimming and fishing in absolute safety.
What you do each day is up to you and your Private Guide will arrange this with you.
