The Maasai Mara is widely regarded as being one of the finest wildlife viewing areas in Africa. It is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game and consistently offers some of the best opportunities to view Africa’s big cats in the wild. Each year, between mid July and October the nearly two million animals that make up the Great Migration spill onto the grassland plains from the neighbouring Serengeti.
East Africa Safari Ventures was in the Mara throughout the migration season and we’ve decided to share some of the amazing shots of abundant wildlife taken by our guides in the field with special credit to Dave Simpson.
