Rekero Tented Camp sits in the heart of the Maasai Mara’s feline predator country, and the camp was the locus for the crew of Disney Nature’s 2011 film African Cats. Situated at the confluence of the Mara and Talek rivers, Rekero is recognized as the prime site within the Maasai Mara National Reserve to view the main wildebeest crossing during the annual migration. Rekero is a seasonal camp (June to March) that offers a peaceful respite within some of the most remarkable untouched wilderness in Kenya.
